In 2018, an Auditorium has been opened in a separate wing : it is an impressive space opening onto a large park.
With this Auditorium, the Institute wishes to provide its members with a privileged environment allowing them to interact and exchange views in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, as well as meet leading figures of the scientific, economic and cultural world.
Tea ceremonies can be held on request.
Meditation sessions are also part of the workshop’s program.
The Institute regularly holds major temporary exhibitions, some of which are dedicated to Japanese art in link with Institute’s collection or other artistic themes.
Top-quality contemporary artists are also in the spotlight thanks to Marina Fedier, the founder of the Institute, and art patron, who keeps in close contact with many leading or promising figures of the art world and offers them the possibility to show their works.
The Auditorium is available for private, corporate or institutional exclusive events depending on the kind of event and guest number, the Auditorium can be hired for conferences, round-tables meetings, team-buildings, luncheons or cocktails. It enjoys high-quality projection equipment and can host 90 to 120 people seated and 150 standing. Conditions on request.
Concerts and conferences are organised on a monthly basis for a large public.
Prominent personalities and specialists are invited to share their knowledge, passion and prospective views on various subjects : geopolitics, art & architecture, the new sciences. For concerts, a splendid Steinway grand piano was recently installed in the auditorium, which belonged to Bruno Lussato, a talented pianist.
Artistic workshops focus on traditional Japanese craftmanship such as Calligraphy, Ikebana, Origami and Furoshiki. They are a fantastic opportunity to understand Japanese culture better, and can be the start of a new interest or vocation.
